Return to Work Program (RTW)
A successful Return-to-Work (RTW) program has two main parts: first, employers must commit to bringing employees back to work safely and quickly. Second, employers must communicate with the injured employee starting immediate after the injury and continuing to do so throughout the injured employee’s recovery. In some areas, employers with a formal RTW program may get a discount on their insurance premiums.

Preventing accidents is the best way to lower injury costs. However, if an injury does happen, a Return-to-Work (RTW) program is the best way to handle costs afterward. This program helps injured workers return to their jobs when they are ready, benefiting both the worker and the employer.
RTW programs reduce lost productivity and cut down on costs for hiring and training new employees. They also help keep insurance premiums from rising.

Early Reporting Value

If someone gets seriously injured, seek medical help right away and inform iQUE the same day to start the claims process.
For less urgent injuries, take the person to the employer’s designated doctor or clinic and notify iQUE within 24 hours.
In some areas, employers can direct medical treatment. Quick reporting helps iQUE guide employees to preferred provider organization (PPO) doctors, controlling costs and speeding up treatment.
Timely reporting allows iQUE’s claims team to manage claims effectively and avoid unnecessary medical treatments.

Timely reporting allows iQUE’s claims team to manage claims effectively and avoid unnecessary medical treatments.
We encourage employers to report all injuries and submit medical bills for payment. Covering minor injuries themselves can result in higher costs since PPO rates won’t apply. Employers can also file a “record only” report for incidents without medical treatment, which can be useful if symptoms develop later.
To better handle claims, establish a relationship with a doctor or clinic beforehand. For help finding a doctor in your area, call us at 800.633.iQUE (4783). You can also report a claim by calling this number or emailing us at iqueclaims@qrm-llc.com.
